This hard core sci fi novel is a heavy and challenging that demands constant attention to stay with it. The diversions into ubiquitous computing make it inaccessible rather than interesting.

A fine collection of famous writers for this special edition offering fiction, non-fiction, photo-essay here, poetry, some like Hanif Kureishi's pieces are stand-outs, the overall quality is mixed.
